FOR INDEPENDENT SELLERS

Test one buyer journey before you move the business.

A smaller subscription bill is useful only if the new setup can deliver what your customers bought.

First, decide whether a trial is worth the time

systeme.io combines sales pages, email and course delivery. Its official pricing FAQ lists a free tier and a Startup tier at US$17 per month. Start with the actual features and limits you need; the current checkout governs your price.

It is a candidate when you bring your own audience and want those jobs together. Keep your current setup on the shortlist if it supplies meaningful marketplace traffic, handles responsibilities you would otherwise take on, or already supports a reliable subscription workflow.

A seven-step trial

  1. Write down the one offer. State the price, currency, file or course, access duration and support you provide. Use a small representative product.
  2. Confirm payment eligibility. Check which connected payment provider can serve your business country, settlement currency and customers. Read that provider’s own onboarding and fee terms.
  3. Build the smallest sales flow. Create a product page, the relevant payment step and a confirmation page. Preview the copy and price on mobile.
  4. Check what a buyer receives. With a provider-supported test method, verify the download or course access, access email and account recovery path. A working sales page alone does not prove delivery.
  5. Check consent and email delivery. Map the source of consent for any list you plan to import. Preview delivery and unsubscribe behavior. Do not assume old automations transfer intact.
  6. Map existing subscriptions separately. Ask both providers how ongoing billing, payment credentials and customer access can be handled. Keep the current service until the chosen process is verified.
  7. Record the actual work. Replace the calculator’s setup and recurring-hour assumptions with your measured time. Decide after testing support, refunds and access, not from the monthly fee alone.

A simple go / stay decision

Consider moving when the buyer journey passes, the needed features are available, payment eligibility is confirmed, and the modeled saving covers the work. Stay or postpone when a required feature fails, customers must do more work than you can support, or the saving disappears after admin time.

Try the fit on the free plan

Check current limits before creating a trial. A free account is not a promise that every workflow will fit.
